Fish Yoga Pose - Matsyasana

Type of yoga pose: backbend
Benefits: this pose is very nice and effective because it opens the chest and throat.
Instructions for doing Fish Yoga Pose:
1. First of all, you have to lie on your back.
2. Then you need to come up on your elbows.
3. Now you should slide your body to the back of the mat at the same time keeping your forearms in place and puffing up your chest.
4. Afterwards you should drop the crown of your head back to the floor and open your throat.
5. In order to come out, you need to press strongly into your forearms and raise your head off the floor.
6. In the end you can release your upper body to the floor.
A note for beginners: if the crown does not comfortably lie on the floor, you may put a blanket or block under your head.
A note for advanced: you should lift your arms up to the ceiling. Your palms should touch each other. Then you should raise your legs.
