Type of Yoga Pose: supine, restorative.

Instructions for getting into this yoga pose:

1. In the beginning you should lean backwards and put your elbows to the floor.

2. You should go on by lowering your back to the floor all the time.

3. You have to stay in this position within several minutes. In order to come out of the pose, you should roll over to the side and sit with the help of your hands.

A note for beginners:
if you don’t feel comfortable lying on the floor, you can use a bolster or a few folded blankets that will help you support the spine. You may also put a block under each knee of yours to get support.
