Half Lotus Yoga Pose - Ardha Padmasana

Benefits: this pose is very good for opening hips.
Instructions for doing Half Lotus Yoga Pose:
1. At first you have to bend your right knee and lift the right ankle to the left hip crease with the right foot sole facing upwards.
2. The next step is putting the foot into the hip crease.
3. Then you should flex your left knee and cross your left ankle under the right hip knee so that the position was comfortable. The legs should be crossed.
4. Now you can repeat the exercises with the left foot on the bottom and the right foot on top. Notice that it may be easier to train only one of the sides but it will be better if you do both sides whenever you sit in the pose for some time.
A note for advanced: you can try to do full lotus when the hips start to open.
