 King Dancer Yoga Pose - Natarajasana Pose
Type of yoga pose: standing, balancing. 

Benefits: this pose allows you to strengthen your legs, improve balance, stretch the shoulders. 

Instructions for doing this yoga pose

1. At first you need to shift your weight onto your right leg. 

2. Then you need to bend your left knee and grasp inside part of your left foot with your left hand. 

3. While you bring your torso forward, you should start to lift your left foot and the right arm up towards the ceiling 

4. In this position you are to hold 5-10 breaths. 

5. Then you have to repeat the exercises on the other side. 

A note for beginners: it is better for you to fix your look on something that doesn't move in order not to lose your balance. 

A note for advanced: you can fulfill the full version of this pose. 

At first you should shift your grasp on the lifted foot to have your arm coming straight up towards the ceiling so that the elbow was bent and was coming back towards the foot. To do it you are to get into a deeper backbend. 

When your foot is grasped with one hand, you have to place another arm into a parallel position and take a hold of the same lifted foot. 

Now you can balance and deepen the backbend.
