 Wild Thing Yoga Pose
Type of yoga pose: backbend.

Benefits: the pose helps improve flexibility of your spine and makes arms stronger.

How to do this yoga pose:

1. From downward facing dog pose you need to raise your right leg, coming into down dog split.

2. Afterwards you need to open your right hip towards the ceiling and bend your right knee.

3. You should continue opening your hip and start pivoting on the ball of the left foot in order to bring yourself into position for a backbend.

4. When your hips face the ceiling, you need to put the right foot on the floor, this time you should do it on the outside of and parallel to your left foot.

5. Now you need to get your right arm coming off the floor and stretching to the front of the room.

6. In order to come out, you need to pivot on the ball of your left foot and drop the right arm in order to come back to down dog split.

7. Then you can repeat the exercise on the other side.

A note for beginners: it is an advanced backbend pose.
